I’m Levi Boenish, a full stack developer with a specialization in front end technologies from Denver Colorado. I’ve been writing code for the past five years and am currently working on developing user interfaces for the automotive industry. Outside of writing code I am an avid climber, musician, and dungeon master currently running Curse of Strahd.
I started out by teaching myself how to code using Codecademy and Treehouse. When I discovered and aptitude and passion for writing code, I decided to attend Front Range Community College to pursue a certificate in front end technologies. Upon finishing the program, I decided I hadn’t had enough so I attended Galvanize, a 6-month immersive full stack development course. Four months into the program I started working professionally as a front-end engineer.
I am currently employed with Vizio as a front end software engineer. I am assisting with, and leading projects in the ad tech space to help develop internal tools for the company.
At Red Van I was brought on to support an in process project for Tilly’s. I was primarily responsible for style clean up, custom CSS solutions, and ADA compliance.
I was a Full Stack Engineer at A2Z Sync. I specialized in react to help build a new app to propel the way we buy cars into the future. Within this app I wrote everything from styles to business logic. We also used Cypress and PHP to test and develop back end code for our apps.
At SomaLogic I was a UX/UI engineer. I was the project owner for how our consumer facing reports are rendered. I primarily worked with HTML, CSS, and JS in Vue and we wrote our unit tests in Jest. I did everything from helping to design our apps in Figma to implementing how they were built.
While working for PromonTech I primarily dealt with the logical implementation of new features in our apps. I built new features and also wrote unit tests in Jasmine. I primarily worked with HTML, CSS, and JS in AngularJS as well as Angular 6.
